The ninth edition of the European Open ATP 250 takes place from the 13th to the 20th of October 2024 in the Lotto Arena in Antwerp. The tournament is part of the ATP World Tour and is the largest and only tennis tournament of this level in Belgium.
The European Open brings together several of the best players in the world and Belgium. It is a singles as well as a doubles tournament.
The tournament promoter, Tennium, is an international company specialised in tennis. Kristoff Puelinckx is the founder and CEO of Tennium. He is openly enthusiastic about having top tennis in Belgium. “We are delighted to organize this tournament in Belgium, especially in Antwerp, a city with a long tradition of toptennis and the city has a strong tennis culture”, he explained when the official announcement was made.
The European Open is an official tournament on the ATP World Tour and a 250 level event, meaning the winner receives 250 points in the Pepperstone ATP rankings.
