At a press conference on Thursday, the European Open, the biggest tennis tournament in Belgium, announced the entry list with all of the players attending in October. Just like the past two years, many stars will join.
Both defending champions, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (ATP-73, winner 2017) and Richard Gasquet (ATP-24, winner 2016), are joining the main draw again this year. Together with big names David Goffin (ATP-11), Diego Schwartzman (ATP-13), Kyle Edmund (ATP-16), Gael Monfils (ATP-42) and Feliciano Lopez (ATP- 63) they will show their best tennis skills to the audience.
Other crowd pullers on the entry list are Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili (ATP-31), Gilles Simon (ATP-39) from France and the famous Dutchman Robin Haase (ATP-44).
Tournament Director Dick Norman looks forward to the European Open: “We are very pleased that we will once again be able to present world-class tennis in Antwerp this year. This edition will undoubtedly be the best ever.”
