European Open launches Ethias NextGen Day, an inspiration day for Belgian tennis talent

Antwerp, October 4, 2023 – On Sunday, October 15, 2023, the European Open in Antwerp will host the Ethias NextGen Day. “This new initiative offers emerging young tennis players from Belgium valuable insights to pursue a professional tennis career”, says tournament director Dick Norman. “Emerging talents Gilles-Arnaud Bailly and Alexander Blockx are the great inspiration for this. Parents and children will have the opportunity that day to ask all their questions about a possible professional career to tennis experts, managers and coaches such as Sébastien Grosjean, Julien Cassaigne, Sabine Appelmans, Enric Molina and Kristoff Puelinckx.”

Leading tennis experts from tennis company Tennium will share their extensive knowledge and reveal the challenges and strategies for success in professional tennis. Participants will have the chance to interact with like-minded enthusiasts and experts such as Sébastien Grosjean, Julien Cassaigne, Sabine Appelmans, Enric Molina and Kristoff Puelinckx.

The Ethias NextGen Day is also peppered with a Q&A session: participants can ask questions about a tennis career. Experts offer personalized advice to help young players find their path to success.
