Launch ticket sales European Open 2023!

Antwerp, June 1st, 2023 – The European Open, Belgium’s premier tennis tournament, is proud to announce the arrival of the eighth edition of the European Open in Antwerp. From the 15th to 22nd of October, top players from all over the world will come together for an unforgettable week of tennis and social engagement.

With its rich history and vibrant culture, Antwerp will host this ATP 250 tournament. The Lotto Arena will be the setting for an impressive tennis experience, where players and spectators can enjoy the best the sport has to offer. Names like Dominic Thiem, Jannik Sinner, Stanislas Wawrinka and Andy Murray have already enchanted the audience in previous editions. Hopefully, we can expect a good turnout of fans again.

With Antwerp as the host city, the European Open promises to provide a unique experience for both players and spectators. It is an event that connects tennis enthusiasts and the local community and highlights the power of sport to create positive change.

Tournament director Dick Norman: “Tennis is for everyone! As one of the most popular sports in Belgium, it is fantastic to organise the European Open for the eighth time. Once again, there is plenty to experience during the tournament, such as the Next Gen Day, School Day, Kids Day, and an After Tennis Party on Saturday, … In addition to our commitment to bringing world-class players to the Lotto Arena, we strive for a full experience for our target groups. The most exclusive ticket category for the biggest fans, the Box experience, is a success every time. You will again be able to enjoy matches from this box with the best view of Centre Court. As every year, we offer economical ticket prices with customised discounts. Children, students, and seniors alike can enjoy these discounts. A lot of top players will be there again in Antwerp, are you coming too? Don’t miss it!”

Besides offering exciting tennis matches, the European Open also has a strong focus on social engagement. The tournament will support several initiatives that benefit the local community. For example, Sport Vlaanderen is one of our main sponsors this year, which we would also like to highlight.

“Flanders supports events like the European Open because we get a lot in return”, says Flemish Minister of Sport Ben Weyts. “Top tennis inspires many Flemings to hit the ball themselves. Seeing sports makes you do sports. We also strengthen the sporting image of Flanders on the world stage and we give Flemish tennis talent the chance to gain experience on the international level.”

Don’t miss this unique tennis tournament! Keep the 15th to the 22nd of October 2023 free in your diary and come to Antwerp for the European Open.
